"First time visiting Eden downtown and what a lovely surprise. Bucket’s Tavern seems to be the heart of it all - set in a lovely old building with an inviting interior. The food was prepared with care and the cocktails were beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and professional. We will be back!"

"My boyfriend and I came here for a spontaneous mini road trip date and we were both so happy we picked Buckets! We drove 40 minutes to check this place out and it was SO WORTH IT. We love supporting local businesses, and this is a business that is more than deserving of that support. We got there late as we both worked late and we asked if it was still ok to order food. The wait staff and bartender were extremely hospitable, welcoming, and attentive. The menu offers a wide range of options and classic bar food. And the prices are more than reasonable for drinks and food! I had a painkiller, it was made to perfection and they even served it with one of those cute lil tiki umbrellas. Because we got there so late they were out of pasta, which didn't bother us at all because it was easy enough to pick something else. Our waitress even gave us a discount on the food we ordered to make up for being out of pasta. We both insisted she did not have to do that, but we still appreciate the extra mile that she went to make sure we felt taken care of. We got the jalapeño poppers, fried ravioli, mashed potatoes (which my boyfriend was very excited to see on a menu at a bar, neither of us had seen that before), the philly cheesesteak, and sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dip. All of the food was AMAZING. The jalapeño poppers were wrapped in bacon, the fried ravioli was perfect, the mashed potatoes were BANGIN, philly cheesesteak was awesome and the waitress was sure to ask what toppings I wanted on it. The sweet potato fries are the PERFECT cut for that just right ratio of fry to filling, and the marshmallow dip was so unique and delicious. We will absolutely be returning on our next spontaneous mini road trip date night."

"I had the Blackened Catfish and Cheese Grits. The wife had a burger and tater tots. Her burger was a 7.5/10. She started on one end and it was well done and the other end was medium. My fish and grits were a 10/10. The restroom didn’t have any soap and the hand dryer didn’t work. I notified my waitress, she said she would address the situation. Lots of tv’s with plenty of sports on and their jukebox didn’t work because I played a song and couldn’t hear it. I asked about it but didn’t hear anything back."

"Four of us had dinner and drinks, wings flatbread and grilled shrimp salad all were very good. The jalapeño poppers are the best I’ve ever had.Overall great night and enjoyable place to unwind with friends! Recommend!"

"Ignore the 1 star reviews. Not exactly next door to us, so we have only been 6-8 times total, but the new owners have done wonders. BEST tasting fries in the county in my opinion, and the steak quesadilla was PERFECTLY seasoned. We will be back several more times. If you are disappointed, give them a chance to make it right, because they WILL! Small business owners in this county do better than Johnston or Wake county... Trust me, I move here from there, and Rockingham SBO give top notch customer service!"

"I have had the privilege of performing live music several times at Bucket's. It's one of my favorite venues in Rockingham Co. The crowd there is top notch. Very friendly folks. The owners are great and the food is on point!! You won't be disappointed at Bucket's."

"This place is great! The new owners have transformed this restaurant in positive ways. I am their next door neighbor, and I see it being more family welcoming, and I no longer see the typical drunks on the street like I did in the past. They have cleaned it from the inside out. The owner painted an outside mural that has seating. She took a Prison yard look atmosphere in the back area and transformed it into an Outside Oasis. The food is good. I would encourage you to go here with your family, and they are receptive to feedback too which speaks Volumes about them unlike the past. Also, I do not see the new owners tolerating any unacceptable behaviors. Give them a try....their Burgers are AMAZING!"
